Aims & Objectives

Judo for All UK aims to:

1. Preserve Judo as a martial art and true fighting form through the allowance of leg grabs, traditional techniques and by placing a strong emphasis on ne-waza.
2. Provide an alternative for those who feel that modern judo has been diluted to the point where it is unrecognisable.
3. Provide opportunities for all to participate in judo, at any level they wish to pursue whether it be grassroots or international.
4. Provide an independent association to support the teaching, practice and development of Judo along the Japanese tradition.
5. Provide guidance through a structured teaching methodology, encouraging and facilitating the ongoing development of judo within the community.
6. Provide a safe and friendly environment for all to participate in judo.
