A big congratulations goes to one of our newly opened clubs, Club Judoka. Last Sunday we had the pleasure of hosting the opening training session for their brand new dojo in the south coast. Run by JFAUK Team member and WJF European Champion Ross Elliot (2nd Dan), the club proves to be yet another example of the ongoing growth and development of traditional judo within the UK under Judo for All United Kingdom.
The opening session was led by JFAUK President Sampson Sampson (8th Dan) and was attended by a number of JFAUK high grades such as JFAUK Chairman Bob Bushnell (6th Dan), JFAUK Sussex Area representative Chris Cooper (5th Dan) and WJF International referee Rob Elliot (5th Dan). Over the course of the 3 hour session the new tatami was well and truly baptised with lots of sweat and lots of great judo.
We are extremely excited to see Ross take this next step in his career and we cannot wait his club grow even more.
